CURRENT TEACHING ENGAGEMENTS
Mrs. Lorca is Head of Movement and founding member of the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater B.F.A. Actor Training Program. She is a Master Teacher for the Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training, a summer program that invites students attending graduate programs from around the country. Mrs. Lorca has also taught at NYU, Juilliard Drama School, national conferences and LISPA – London School for Performing Arts. In her directing choreographic and teaching career Mrs. Lorca has worked with non-traditional forms that combine elements of dance, theater, and voice. She has developed Lorca Movement, her own technique which integrates rhythm, breath work, physical creativity and text based movement exercises.
Mrs. Lorca has been a presenter in Nina Utne’s annual conference for Women at The Crossings in Austin Texas for three consecutive years.
