This is the first production directed by Ten Thousand Things’ new Artistic Director Marcela Lorca, and it seemed she had taken on a hefty challenge, with the many characters, interwoven plotlines, and stark changes in tone Sondheim and Lapine baked into their creation. Have no fear—the results are spectacular.
